EDUCATIONAL DISCLAIMER
All information provided by The Institute for Women’s Metabolic Health™ is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Course content is not intended to constitute individualized medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing guidance, legal advice, or a substitute for independent professional judgment.
Educational discussions may include emerging therapies, medications, supplements, peptides, laboratory testing, clinical interventions, or other topics for which the available scientific evidence varies substantially.
Discussion of a therapy or intervention does not constitute endorsement or recommendation.
Where appropriate, courses distinguish among different levels of evidence, including mechanistic research, preclinical studies, observational research, clinical trials, systematic reviews, and established clinical guidance.
Science evolves. Information considered current at the time a course is developed may subsequently change as new evidence, regulatory decisions, professional guidelines, or safety information becomes available.
Learners are responsible for independently evaluating current evidence and applicable professional guidance before making clinical decisions.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE STATEMENT
Education does not expand scope of practice.
Certificates issued by The Institute for Women’s Metabolic Health™ recognize successful completion of the educational requirements established for the respective program.
Institute certification does not constitute or confer:
- Professional licensure
- Board certification
- Prescribing authority
- Medical specialization
- Authorization to diagnose or treat
- Authorization to perform procedures
- An expansion of an individual's existing legal scope of practice
Each learner is solely responsible for understanding and practicing within the laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and professional standards applicable to their profession and jurisdiction.
Some Institute programs may be designed for licensed clinicians, while others may be appropriate for health professionals or coaches who do not hold a healthcare degree.
Eligibility to complete a certification does not determine what an individual is legally permitted to do professionally.
When a topic falls outside a learner's professional scope, appropriate referral to or collaboration with a qualified licensed healthcare professional should be considered.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
The Institute may pursue continuing education approval for selected educational programs.
Unless a specific program is explicitly identified as approved for continuing education credit, purchasers should not assume that CE or CEU credit is available.
Applications for continuing education approval do not guarantee approval, and requirements may vary by profession, licensing body, state, and jurisdiction.
Learners are responsible for verifying whether a particular program or credit is accepted by their individual licensing or credentialing organization.
RESEARCH & SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION
The Institute strives to provide education informed by scientific literature, including peer-reviewed research, established clinical guidance, and other reputable scientific sources.
The strength and quality of available evidence varies by subject.
Particular attention is given to distinguishing preliminary, mechanistic, preclinical, observational, and clinical evidence so learners can appropriately interpret what conclusions the available research does—and does not—support.
No scientific or medical educational resource should be considered permanently complete. Learners are encouraged to continue reviewing emerging literature and current professional guidance.
CERTIFICATION
A certificate is issued only after the learner has satisfied the completion requirements established for the applicable program, including any required examination or assessment.
Certification demonstrates completion of an Institute educational program.
It does not represent government licensure, board certification, specialty recognition, or independent authorization to practice healthcare.
The Institute reserves the right to establish and enforce reasonable academic-integrity requirements and certification standards.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise indicated, all original course content—including videos, lectures, written materials, graphics, diagrams, study guides, frameworks, assessments, downloadable resources, branding, and other educational materials—is the intellectual property of The Institute for Women’s Metabolic Health™ or is used with appropriate permission.
Materials are provided for the enrolled learner's individual educational use.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, resale, modification, publication, course sharing, or commercial use is prohibited.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Healthcare professionals remain independently responsible for their clinical decisions.
Completion of Institute education does not transfer responsibility for patient care, clinical judgment, informed consent, prescribing, monitoring, documentation, referral, or compliance with applicable professional standards to the Institute or its instructors.
Your license determines what you may do.
Education strengthens what you know.
